What is the "Name
My Map" feature?
Want to make it easier for friends to find you? Have a favorite store
you recommend? Using the MAPQUEST Service you just type
in the address one time and MAPQUEST will automatically
put up a map and driving directions on your website!
It couldn't be simplier.
Let's pretend that your domain is called:
mydomain.com
If you want to leave a map
page on your website you first enable this service in your domain control
panel. You then give those people who you want to have the map the website
address of
map.mydomain.com
They will be taken to a map
immediately that will show them how to find you. If you are a painter
or paperhanger and don't have a store location you can use this service
for friends and relatives to find your home. It will only be available
to those that you wish to share it with and it does NOT count as one
of your ten pages on your website!
